i cannot believe how different my life is at 21 than at 16/17 when i used to livejournal.

all i can say is i REALLY fucking hate conservatives..
i dont care if it sounds close-minded.
i will not be lectured anymore about how great fox news is("we report- you decide" i decided---that fox is fuckin nazi central), how attracvtive george bush is, how liberal the media is(BECAUSE ITS NOT FUCK YOU), how FUCKIN CHRISTIAN you are ETC BC I DONT FUCKING WANT TO HEAR IT.
especially when you attack me about how much teachers get overpaid compared to you and how you dont get as much vacation blah blah blah
and then when i say why dont you try and fight it they say "OH LAURA YOURE SO IDEALISTIC"
well FUCKKKKKKKK YOU. because you could have 3 mths vacation. LOOK AT EUROPE. but you dont.

yesterday at work i found an indianhead penny from 1902.
its really cool.
and when i was packing yesterday it finally hit me that i only have one more night here. thats really weird. the dorms are this random place where you live with all these random people you hate and would never live with for a whole year, and then when youre done living there you never see most of the people you lived with again. im actually kind of sad. i hate that whenever i get settled anywhere i have to move--its been that way my whole life.

so registering was quite a success, seeing as i had such a late enrollment window i knew it would be.
so far i am registered in one class next quarter, with three waitlisted.
and i really have no other class options bc none of the breadth classes i need are offered next quarter.
looks like it will be a lax quarter. ahha.

So tuesday night i had a dream that i was at a party and i walked into a room and Britney spears was sitting on a bed and i was like "Hi Britney".
the next day, i found out my aunts and uncles were staying in laguna in some fancy resort called the montage. and my uncle called me to ask if i wanted to go out to eat with them or lay around the pool with them on friday and i said sure. He then told me britney spears and magic johnson were staying at the resort he was staying at, but he hadnt seen her yet.
weird.
so i go to hang out with my aunts and unlces-we get back from a beach walk and everyone says that britney passed by in her workout clothes.
my aunt has an appt at the spa so i go with her into the womens spa. we see this big black body guard standing outside the womens spa. and me and my aunt are standing in the womens spa waiting for the lady to take her to her appt and out of the workout room walks britney spears and shes staring right at me and my aunt. simultaneously, my aunts lady comes to get her for her appt and we walk down the hall with britney. wow.
she was less than a foot away from me.
i didnt say anything to her because i felt bad. i mean shes paying over 600 dollars a night to stay in a hotel where people wont talk to her. but i did stare. and shes skinny as hell, has bug eyes, and has darker hair.
i think im now a fan of britney.
she was hott.
and this event made my week ahahah.

so im 18.
and i live in the dorms.
and my roomate is rad
because she loves music and shopping and drinking ahha.
and i know her best freind because she went to my high school freshman year.
so everything seems to be good.
i dont want my mom to leave though...
